Q: Are you associated with the Carbone Restaurant?

A: Carbone Fine Food is associated, but not the same company. Chef Mario Carbone and Chef Rich Torrisi, along with Jeff Zalaznick of Major Food Group, the parent company of the Carbone restaurant, sit on our board and play a major role in product development of our sauces.

Q: Who developed the recipe?

A: Chef Rich Torrisi and Chef Mario Carbone

Purchasing:

Q: Where does Carbone ship product to?

A: We currently ship within the Contingent United States.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time.

Q: How quickly do orders ship?

A: We ship orders during normal business hours on Monday through Friday and make best efforts to ship within 24 hours.  Please note that any orders placed on the weekend days will be processed for shipment on the Monday following.

Q: How can I track my order?

A: When your order is placed, a confirmation email will be sent along with tracking number.

Q: Which stores carry Carbone’s Premium Sauces?

A: Visit our “Find Us” section on this Website.

Merchandise Return Instructions:

  1. Please email the Carbone Fine Food team at hello@carbonefinefood.com and provide the following information:

    • Your email address & order number

    • The name of the item(s) you would like to return

  2. Carbone Fine Food will then reply with a return label.

  3. Please mail the return package within 14 days from the date your order was received. 

  4. Unfortunately, exchanges cannot be made at this time.

Q: How do I make a purchase using my Prime benefits on Carbone Fine Food?

A: When you decide to purchase a product using Buy with Prime on Carbone Fine Food, you will be prompted to sign into your Amazon account. You can then complete your order using your preferred payment method stored in your Amazon account.

Q: Can I use Amazon gift cards, promotional discounts offered by Carbone Fine Food or points when I use Buy with Prime?

A: Amazon.com gift cards, promotional discounts offered by Carbone Fine Food or points can’t be used as a payment method to place an order using Buy with Prime. Amazon.com Gift Cards can only be used to purchase eligible goods and services on Amazon.com and certain related sites as detailed in the Amazon.com Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

Q: Can I make Buy with Prime purchases if I’m not in the US?

A: Buy with Prime orders can only be placed and shipped within the US, as well as all order placed on carbonefinefood.com.

Ingredients and Manufacturing:

Q: Where are your tomatoes sourced?

A: We use 100% imported Italian Tomatoes from the San Marzano region. This is our most important ingredient as Chef Mario Carbone explains.

Q: Do the sauces contain GMOs?

A: Our products are PROJECT NON-GMO certified

Q: Where are you manufactured?

A: We manufacture our sauces in the U.S.A.

Q: Do you add sugar?

A: We do not. Any sugar or sweetness comes from our beautiful tomatoes.

Q: What is the difference between Marinara and Marinara Delicato?

A:  Thanks for asking. Our Marinara Delicato is made for those following a low FODMAP diet or for those who simply like a mild marinara. It does not contain garlic or onions unlike our regular Marinara sauce.  You can find a full listing of the ingredients here.

Allergies and Dietary Concerns:

Q: Are the sauces vegan?

A:  All of our sauces, except Four Cheese, Alfredo and Roasted Garlic Alfredo are vegan. You can find our ingredient list for each product on the individual product pages.

Q: Are the sauces gluten-free?

A: Our sauces are gluten free. However, one of our manufacturing facilities does manufacture products that contain gluten.  

Q: Are the sauces Kosher?

A:  All of our sauces, except Alfredo, Roasted Garlic Alfredo, and Four Cheese are OU certified Kosher. Four cheese is OUD certified.

Q: Are any of the sauces low FODMAP?

Yes. Our Marinara Delicato is made for those following a low FODMAP diet.

Q: Are the sauces Keto?

A: Our sauces contain 5g of sugar or less and only 5-7g of carbs overall. So while not certified keto, they do fit a keto lifestyle while maintaining the delicious, decadence taste that is Carbone.

Packaging and Storage:

Q: Is the packaging recyclable?

A: Yes our glass jars are 100% recyclable, including the lids.

Q: How long does the sauce stay fresh after opening?

A: Once opened and properly refrigerated, our tomato based pasta sauces and pizza sauces should be consumed in 5-7 days. Our dairy based flavors Four Cheese, Alfredo, and Garlic Alfredo should be consumed after 3-5 days once opened and properly refrigerated. 

Q: Can I freeze the sauce?

A: You can freeze the sauce, but why wait? 

Q: Where do I find the Best Buy Date?

A: The best buy date is printed at the bottom or top of the jar.

Q: What is the shelf life of Carbone Sauces?

A: Our Sauces are shelf-stable, shelf life details are located at either the neck of the jar or at the bottom of the jar.

Q: Who should I contact if the jar I purchased at retail is damaged?

A: Please check the return and exchange policy of the store in which the jar was purchased.

Promotions and New Products:

Q: How do I learn about upcoming promotions?

A: If we are running a promotion, we will announce it on our website.

Q: Does Carbone offer coupons?

A: We do not routinely offer coupons, however join our website to be notified of any Specials or Coupon Deals via email.

Q: Will the spicy vodka sauce be available for purchase soon?

A: We appreciate the love of Carbone’s Spicy Rigatoni (truly a favorite of ours), however at this time we have not launched this flavor. We suggest you sign up for our email to receive the latest new product news.
