SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS PIZZA
INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup Carbone Spicy Pizza Sauce
12" pizza dough
1 cup low moisture mozzarella cheese
Hot italian sausage
1/2 roasted red pepper strips
1tsp red wine vinegar
Ricotta cheese
Sliced hot cherry peppers
Olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 475° F
Spoon 1/3 cup of Carbone Spicy Pizza Sauce onto 12" pizza dough and spread
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded low moisture mozzarella cheese on top
Apply quarter-sized pieces of uncooked, with casing removed, hot italian sausage
Dress 1/2 cup roasted red pepper strips with 1 tsp of red wine vinegar and apply evenly on pizza
Bake in oven for about 15 minutes, rotating halfway through cooking, until the crust is browned and cheese is golden
Once removed from oven, top each slice with dollops of ricotta cheese
Finish with sliced hot cherry peppers and drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
